I'm really good at crying while eating triscuits.

I found Goose Island’s Matilda, which happens to be one of my favorite beers, (which I also happen to miss immensely since it’s brewed in Chicago and I don’t live there anymore) at the QFC by my house.

In honor of this occasion I made a freakishly spicy tiger shrimp curry.

I know I’ve done good work when my brother descends from his high horse of art-school-graduate pretension to compliment me on my cooking. That kid never compliments anything.
