In 24 hours I will be boarding a plane to Scotland. Chances are you won’t be doing the same (otherwise, whoa: twinsies). That doesn’t mean we can’t be listening to the same two hour and forty-five minute mix of appropriately wintry tunes, over and over again, while you do things like “eat toast” and “cry while masturbating” and I do things like “stare at Iceland” and “cry while masturbating”.
To help facilitate this shared experience I’ve spent the majority of the time between 6am and 12pm compiling, arranging, and uploading the following 44 songs for our mutual listening pleasure.
Anyhow, this is the order they should be in because I spent five hours putting them in a succession that sounded lovely and flowed from one icy sadjam or abrasive guitar squall to the next in the most expedient and enjoyable manner. Trust me on this one. They sound best this way. If you mix them up you’re just being a shithead on purpose.

I think we can all agree that not only is Chip Tha Ripper’s ‘Feel Good’ decidedly not a sadjam, it’s one of the best kick back and go “Fuck yeah” while nodding your head jams on the planet. I thought maybe 2.5 hours of minor key piano stabs and songs that sound like they were recorded in an Antarctic cave could use a little ray of sunshine at the end, plus I’ll be rocking that pretty hard when I actually touch down on Glasgow soil.
It does have that totally icy intro, though, which makes it deceptively perfect for capping off this little batch of seasonally appropriate anti-bliss.
Enjoy or don’t. It’s your life. I just internet in it.
